Common questions
Is Schooled In free?
Yes. Every lesson, game, exam and Memory Scene is free to use, with free plays that refill every day. Nothing is for sale yet. Premium, with endless plays and AI study tools, is coming soon.
What are the daily limits?
Each day you get 3 plays of each game, 6 new lessons, 2 new Memory Scenes and 1 full-length exam or quiz. Reviews, 10-question exams, lessons you've finished and scenes you've opened stay unlimited. Out of plays for a game? Watch 30 seconds of one of our study videos for 1 more play, up to 2 extra plays per game each day. Watch to the end for a few shards too. Everything refills at midnight.
Are there ads?
Only if you want one. In the iPhone and Android apps, when you run out of plays for a game, you can choose to watch a short video ad for one more play. The website has no ads, and teens never see ads.
Where can I study?
Right here in your browser at schooledinapp.com/app, on any phone, tablet or computer. The iPhone and Android apps are coming soon.
How do I change the text size, theme or font?
Tap the gear at the top right, then Display settings.
How do I turn daily reminders on or off?
In the phone app: Settings > Daily fun facts > Daily reminder. You can also turn off notifications for Schooled In in your phone's settings.
Found a wrong answer?
Thank you! After you answer, tap Report a problem, pick what's wrong and add a note, then tap Email the report so it reaches us. You can also email us the question and what it should say. A source helps.
I switched phones or browsers. Where did my progress go?
Progress is saved on the device or browser you study on, so it doesn't move over on its own yet. Account sign-in to back up and restore progress is planned.
What are shards?
Shards of Knowledge are rewards you earn by studying, playing and watching study videos. Spend them in Settings > Shards of Knowledge on streak freezes, streak repairs and emblems.
How do I leave a tip?
Use the tip jar on the home page. Tips are optional, they don't unlock anything, and they go straight back into building Schooled In. Thank you!

On the Videos page and on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. Find every link on the links page.
Erase your data
- In the app: Settings > Reset progress erases your progress on that device.
- On the website: clear your browser's site data for schooledinapp.com.
- Anything you emailed us: email schooledinapp@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data" and we'll delete it within 30 days.
