Terms of Use

These terms are between you and Schooled In ("we," "us"). By using the Schooled In app or schooledinapp.com, you agree to them. The app shows a summary the first time you open it, and you can reread it any time in Settings > Terms and disclaimer.
1. A study aid, not professional advice
The app's questions, lessons, explanations, Memory Scenes and videos are for practice and learning. They aren't professional, legal, medical, engineering, financial or safety advice, and they don't replace licensed training, official codes, manufacturer instructions or exam-board materials. Always check the official source before you rely on anything.
2. Practice exams aren't official
Practice exams are written for Schooled In. They aren't the real exams, and we aren't affiliated with or endorsed by the organizations that write or give them (for example LSAC, AAMC, NCSBN, NCBE, the College Board, ACT, CompTIA, ASE, the FAA, the EPA, OSHA or any state board). A practice score doesn't guarantee a passing score.
3. Age
You must be at least 13 years old to use Schooled In.
4. Free plan, ads and future purchases
Schooled In is free to use, with daily limits that refill every day. The iPhone and Android apps include optional video ads you can choose to watch for extra plays. We plan to add a paid Premium membership later, sold through Apple, Google or our website. If we do, the price and terms will appear before you buy, and you'll never be charged unless you choose to buy. Shards of Knowledge are an in-app reward with no cash value.
5. Tips
Tips are voluntary gifts to support Schooled In. They're processed by Stripe, they don't unlock or buy anything in the app, and they aren't tax-deductible because Schooled In isn't a charity. If something went wrong with a tip, email us and we'll do our best to help.
6. Fair play
Don't cheat leaderboards, duels or rewards, send false problem reports, reverse-engineer or overload the service, or use it to harass anyone. We may reset scores or block access for anyone who breaks these rules.
7. Content you create
Cards and notes you write stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them to run the app.
8. Our content
The app, its questions, lessons, Memory Scenes, videos and design belong to Schooled In. You're welcome to share links to them, but don't copy or redistribute the content itself.
9. Other services
The website links to and embeds services we don't control, such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Stripe. Their own terms apply when you use them.
10. No warranty
Schooled In is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it accurate, but we can't promise it's free of mistakes. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months.
11. Changes
We may update the app and these terms. If a change is significant, the app will ask you to agree again. Otherwise, continuing to use Schooled In means you accept the updated terms.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
